Being in love is the best thing that ever happened to me. Not because I am in love with some prince. He definitely isn’t perfect. He is, however, perfect for me. Sometimes I think God just saw two people who were hurting and said you know I think they are the only ones who can really bring my message to each other. No one else can make them see what or who I really am. With me he is gentle, not vulnerable, but sweet. A mixed bag of things that no one else sees but me. With him I can tell him things that I can’t anyone else. Take off the masks and just be me and know that I am understood. Yes, sometimes we have disagreements, but most often it is because we care so much about each other that we don’t know how to express it. How do you take two people who have been hurt so much that they have learned to run from love and tell them it is okay to let down all the walls? Yet that is exactly what we have done…and it’s not a bad thing. We love each other and we have healed each other and I love him….more than I have ever loved another man.
