A Seed of Hope

I Suppose I could have been normal and named this the about me section, but I don't really think telling you my favorite color or what my favorite band is or what I like to eat is appropriate on this page. What I do think is right is telling you about some of the people who have shaped me. Some of those people are my friends. Some are musicians alive and dead. Some are clients I have worked with now deceased...some are former bosses, some are authors...as I am a writer....some are actors, some are people I have met in life and had one conversation with but no more. I've got stories, oh have I got stories...and they all make me who I am. I'd like to share some here. I might change a name or two to protect confidentiality of former clients, however each person here has changed me greatly and I am forever grateful to them!

What can you really say about someone you've been friends with since you were 11? Kerri knows absolutely everything about me and is the one person who has stood by me through every damn thing I ever did. It don't matter how long we have gone without speaking, what we have done to each other, our friendship has lasted. Kerri has always been there for me, and she knows the same is true for me. I don't get to see her as often as I like, but she is the only person I will get absolutely shit faced drunk with, and one of few I without doubt trust my life with. She has taught me much, loved me much, picked on me much, and made me laugh much. She has taught me that it's okay to be me, to laugh at me, and most of all that I am beautiful just the way I am...and I love her for it. Eighteen years of friendship, and I am never giving her up!!

Travion Enlow: I knew him for such a short period of time, yet he meant a great deal to me. His life was cut far too short, and it saddens me to know that he is no longer with us. I pray that he is an angel watching over us now, and that God opened his loving arms and erased all of Tra's pain.  Tra was one of the sweetest people I ever met, and I think he taught me as much as I taught him. I have a poster in which he wrote "I miss you so much Debbie-Ebbie" and I can't look at that without tears...because it reminds me of the close relationship I shared with Tra...and all I can say is I miss you so much too Tra-E. May You Rest In Peace. You are never forgotten my friend.
